Academy Coaches
We are creating a flexible, high-value concept for academies where the upfront fee is clear, but the potential revenue is scalable based on how the academies choose to structure their offerings. Here's a breakdown of the cost, key selling points and possibilities
Concept
Our academy vs academy concept organizes competitive matchups between junior academies featuring 6 singles matches and 3 doubles. The format is designed to provide high-level, real-college style competition for junior players while helping colleges coaches identify top talent
There are three divisions based on UTR for fair and competitive matchups

Division 1: UTR 5.5 and above
Division 2: UTR 3.25 to 5.5
Division 3: UTR 1.0 to 3.25
Academies can form multiple teams within each division (Team #1, Team #2, etc.), and our live ranking system will allow college coaches to easily scout talent in each division. Rankings will be regularly updated, and in the future, we plan to offer deeper insights, including player stats, videos, and contact information through a subscription-based membership

Key Selling Points
Low Upfront Cost, High Flexibility
The $1,500 upfront fee is relatively modest compared to the potential earnings from charging per player.
Academies have full control over how much to charge their players, allowing them to adjust prices according to their target market.
Potential for Significant Profit
For example, charging $375 per player for 10 players would result in $2,000 in profit per team, which could be a nice add on for the academy especially if they can field a couple of teams. The revenue could scale quickly.
Customization to Fit Different Models
Academies can decide whether to use the offering as a value-add to enhance their existing programs or as a standalone offering.
Academies can charge an extra coaching fee on top of the event price, increasing the per-player charge for specialized coaching.

Potential Models
Add-on to Existing Programs
The academy could include this concept as a free bonus for current players or as an upgrade to a premium package, making the overall offering more attractive.

Custom Fee Structure
Based on the market and demand for the service, price can be adjusted for players. For instance:
In a high-end market, they could charge more per player, say $525. Based on 10 players, the academy would profit $3,500 per team without any add on (academies could have 5 teams depending on size)
In a more budget-conscious market, they may charge $275 and still add $1000 profit for the academy
Possibilities are endless

Event-Based Revenue
The academy could charge additional fees for specialized coaching that take place during the event. This gives them the option to monetize further beyond the initial event.
For example, coaches can charge $30 per player for their participation in each event. With 6 players, that generates an additional $180 per match for the academy or coach.
Annual Coaching Revenue per Team: $2160
This revenue assumes 12 events per year (6 summer, 6 during the school year)

Subscription or Membership Model
Academies could create a subscription model where players pay a monthly fee to be a part of it every year and receive ongoing access to on court coaching during those matches.

Total Estimated Profit

$2000 (team fee based on charging each player $375 a year) + $2160 (coaching fees) = $4160/year per team
If an academy fields 3 teams, this means an extra $12,480/year in revenue.

Why It Works

Scalable Revenue

Academies are in control of how much they charge per player, making it easy for them to adjust prices based on the market or create premium offerings
Low (No) Risk, High Reward

The relatively low upfront cost to the players allows for a potential boost in income for the academies, especially when it has the flexibility to price based on demand
Endless Possibilities for Innovation

The freedom to adjust pricing, create themed events, or combine it with other services (like additional coaching) gives academies plenty of room to get creative and meet the specific needs of their players.
This model should be quite appealing to academies that want to enhance their offerings, attract more players, and ultimately generate significant revenue. The flexibility to design the program however they see fit is a major plus.
