College Coaches
​What if I told you we could start preparing junior players for the college team environment from a young age? Do you think those players would be a valuable addition to your team? How might that impact your team chemistry?
Mission Statement
​
We believe that junior players often face challenges when it comes to being effective team players, and it can take time for many to adjust. Our goal is to ensure that these players are ready to seamlessly transition into collegiate competition as soon as they step foot on campus.
​
Concept
Our academy vs academy concept organizes competitive matchups between junior academies featuring 6 singles matches and 3 doubles. The format is designed to provide high-level, real-college style competition for junior players while helping colleges coaches identify top talent.
There are three divisions based on UTR for fair and competitive matchups:

Division 1: UTR 5.5 and above

Division 2: UTR 3.25 to 5.5

Division 3: UTR 1.0 to 3.25
Academies can form multiple teams within each division (Team #1, Team #2, etc.), and our live ranking system will allow college coaches to easily scout talent in each division. Rankings will be regularly updated, and in the future, we plan to offer deeper insights, including player stats, videos, and contact information through a subscription-based membership.

4) Coaches can follow player/academy rankings and track their performance throughout each match, giving a deeper insight into player development and progression

2) Host matches at your college’s facility to provide an even closer version of the college-style experience for junior players.
Our goal is to offer a deeper connection between college programs and the junior tennis community, enhancing exposure for players and giving college coaches a closer look at future talent.
Both opportunities aim to foster a strong relationship between junior players and college tennis programs, but the NGTA package offers more hands-on opportunities for coaches to evaluate players and integrate their college into the tennis development pathway.
